There are three people detained for the death of 51 immigrants in a trailer in Texas, of which two are Mexicans who are undocumented in the United States States, Mexican authorities confirmed.
“The investigation links two Mexicans, Juan Francisco ‘N’ and Juan Claudio ‘N’, to the death of the 51 migrants for having the same address as the state registry of the truck and during a judicial review weapons were found on them,” said Francisco Garduño, commissioner of the National Institute of Migration (INM) of Mexico.
The official added that both Mexicans are in the United States “irregularly”, in reference to the fact that they are undocumented, for which they also commit a crime by carrying weapons.
“These two of Mexican origin are found irregularly (in the United States), and therefore it is it is a crime to carry weapons”, he stated at a press conference.

The official explained that of the 51 deceased, 39 are women and 12 men, including 27 Mexicans, 14 Hondurans, seven Guatemalans, two Salvadorans and one body pending identification.
The 14 survivors are in serious condition and all are intubated, came forward.
