bayern-munich-rejected-a-new-offer-from-barcelona-and-lewandowski-makes-an-important-decision

The novel between Robert Lewandowski, Bayern Munich and Barcelona continues to generate tension this summer, and that is that after the German team rejected a new offer from the Spanish club, the player would be willing to start a strike which would consist of being absent of the preseason.

In recent hours, the ‘Bild’ newspaper reported that Bayern Munich rejected an offer for 40 million euros plus another five million in variables ($41.8 million dollars plus $5.2 million) made by Barcelona, something that supposedly would have annoyed the player.

As a consequence of this action, the Polish striker would be evaluating starting a personal protest which would consist of not showing up for team training when the preseason starts at the month of July.

This strategy that the top scorer in the Bundesliga would carry out last season, is the same that several footballers have used in recent years when they want to leave their teams and these they are not willing to sell them.

It should be remembered that, although Lewandowski has a contract with Bayern until 2023, he would have revealed to the club’s board his desire to leave this summer. Likewise, a short time later he publicly revealed that his main objective is to sign with the Catalan team currently led by Xavi Hernández.

Given this, after several meetings with the attacker, the Munich team has set 60 million euros ($62 millions of dollars) the selling price of the player. For its part, Barcelona has raised its offer from $ million dollars to 40 millions.

An important fact that could have repercussions in the coming days has to do with the fact that Lewandowski met with Xavi this Wednesday, in Ibiza, Spain, where they are both enjoying their vacations.
