bernie-ecclestone-reaffirmed-his-support-for-vladimir-putin:-i-would-take-a-bullet-for-him

Bernie Ecclestone has caused a kind of hurricane on social networks, after showing his firm support for the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin; who has carried out war attacks on Ukraine. Likewise, whoever was the president and executive director of Formula 1 also left a message for the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky

“What Putin is doing is what he believes is right for Russia. He is a businessman, like me, and sometimes we make mistakes. When you make a mistake, you have to try to correct it and get the best out of them”, commented Bernie Ecclestone in an interview with ITV.

Likewise, the British ended up praising the Russian president with a message that could outrage all of Britain and the same were: I would take a bullet for him.

It is important to note that Ecclestone has shared on different occasions with the Russian president when the Grand Prix of that country was held during each season of the highest category of the engines.

But not everything ended there, the one who was one of the great leaders of Formula 1 also had the kindness to dedicate a word to the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky, something that will not go down very well either to the world.

“The other person in Ukraine, in his profession, was a comedian and it seems that he wants to continue with that profession. I think that if he had thought things through and made an effort to talk to Mr. Putin, who is a sensible person, he would have listened to him and probably could have done something about it,” Ecclestone concluded.

It is important to highlight that all sports disciplines have categorically rejected the military attacks of the Russian army and even Formula 1 itself has momentarily suspended his career in the country governed by Putin.

In this way, Bernie Ecclestone’s words could cause endless reactions in the world of sports due to the decisions that Putin has made and more when innocent people have died in recent months.
