Disney presented the Disney Wish Cruise that will depart on its first voyage on July 14 from Puerto Cane field in Florida. The presentation was given by the executive president of Disney, Bob Chapek, and many of the peculiarities that this project will have were revealed.
Disney Wish is the company’s first new cruise ship in a decade and it took more than six years to bring to market the floating ship of 144,000 tons, Chapek commented during the presentation.
On the ship, “we combine these amazing characters and stories with incredible technology to create new experiences”, said the director of Disney, accompanied by Mickey and Minnie Mouse and other characters while fireworks were displayed.
“Like all the ships in our fleet, she is the best in her class, specifically designed to inspire a sense of delight and wonder. This ship is a celebration of nearly 100 years of Disney storytelling and excellence, bringing fantastical worlds and beloved characters to life. like never before”, stressed Chapek.

The Disney Wish will offer its 4,000 passengers different amenities:
Food:
It will offer banquets with gourmet specialties within the magical worlds of some of the favorite Disney stories. Travelers will enjoy a Frozen-themed dining experience at Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure. And they can also dine in cinematic settings of epic proportions in Worlds of Marvel.
Innovative Experiences
The Disney Wish combines innovative design, cutting-edge technology and the classic art of storytelling to bring the magic of Disney to life. Guests can join Mickey and Minnie on AquaMouse, Disney’s first attraction at sea, and watch world-class entertainment at the lavish Walt Disney Theatre.
Kids Clubs
On board the Disney Wish, kids can enjoy clubs themed around Disney stories and a programming presented by counselors. At Marvel Super Hero Academy, kids will train alongside some of their favorite Marvel Super Heroes. At Fairytale Hall, young royals can enter a wonderland and meet the Disney Princesses. And at the Walt Disney Imagineering Lab, kids will design their own roller coaster just like a Disney Imagineer.
Cabins
With a totally new look and full of the Disney whims, staterooms aboard the new ship, The Disney Wish, are luxurious and serene and designed for families, with artwork and subtle touches that celebrate iconic elements from Disney movies.
Exclusive spaces for adults
On board the Disney Wish, adults can dine, relax and enjoy in magical environments just for them. They can reach for the stars in Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge. They will be special guests at Palo Steakhouse, Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement and The Rose, offering elegant and sophisticated dining experiences inspired by the romance of Beauty and the Beast. They will also have invigorating spa and beauty treatments at Senses Spa, and they can swim in the pool and sip cocktails on the deck at Quiet Cove.
Something that has attracted attention and has transcended social media is a custom Star Wars cocktail that retails for $5,000 dollars.

According to the videos circulating online, the Kaiburr Crystal cocktail seems to be quite an experience. The drink is served in a “Camtono,” which according to Star Wars lore is a security container used to transport valuables; an item that appears in The Mandalorian and The Empire Strikes Back.
