The Police reported this Friday that they found alive and arrested Harold Carrión Butter, the young man who was wanted for allegedly having been dragged by the water currents in the Poza del Obispo de Arecibo.

The agents found the young man, aged 23, in an abandoned structure, according to the Police statement, which did not provide details of the location.

Carrión Butter was detained and transferred to the Arecibo Comandancia, where he will be interviewed by the agents.

His search, which even mobilized the Coast Guard, began last Tuesday night, when the young man’s mother, Justinita Butter Torres, alerted the 9-1-1 Emergency System.

The mother told the authorities that her son walked to the area of ​​the rocks of the Poza del Obispo and did not return, so it was thought that he had been swept away by the current.
