The Attorney General of the Mexican State of Michoacán (FGE) detained this Friday a subject identified as Ángel “N” for his possible involvement in the femicide of his own sister in April of this year.
According to the police report, last 10 April, Ángel would have deprived his sister Celia “N” of her life, when they were in her house located in the city of Tlapa, this after having confused her with his wife.
After the Attorney General of the State of Guerrero was aware of what had happened and after an investigation, it managed to establish the possible relationship between Ángel “N” in the femicide, for which they requested an arrest warrant against him.
“During the investigative work, authorities of that entity obtained information to the effect that the person under investigation was in the state of Michoacán, evading the action of justice, for which reason, immediately, through a letter of c collaboration, the support of the FGE in Michoacán was requested”, reads the statement from the Prosecutor’s Office.
After the investigations, the staff of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office of Apatzingán located and the municipality of Buenavista.
Subsequently, the subject was transferred to Guerrero to hand him over to the authority “which will be in charge of resolving his legal situation,” the letter explains.
