Comedian Amy Schumer and her family are a few days away from officially owning a luxurious house in Brooklyn Heights, New York.
According to the ‘New York Post’ and other media, said property had a cost of $11 million dollars and the purchase takes place only a few days after Schumer put in sale of a penthouse in the same city at a cost of $15 million dollars.
The new property is larger than the penthouse for sale and also has an interesting history, since that place was part of the recording sets of the movie ‘Moonstruck’ (‘Moon Spell’). This film by Norman Jewison premiered at 1987.
The house, whose construction dates from 1829, has a total extension of 5, 568 square feet distributed over four floors with five bedrooms, three full bathrooms, hall, living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, gym, library and other amenities.
Although the place was built many years ago, it has been remodeled in recent years, so it still offers a modern style suited to today’s trends.
Some details that stand out are several fireplaces with marble, which undoubtedly raises the residence to a level of high prestige.
The kitchen is a true paradise with a rustic style. It is equipped with high-end appliances, a central island, wooden cabinets and exposed beams.
Also noteworthy are the large windows that are in all the spaces of the houses, of which you have a great view of the neighborhood.
Without a doubt this has been a good year for Schumer who was in charge of presenting the Oscar Awards and who also bought a mansion in Montecito for $12.5 million dollars.
