'drug-mix'-blamed-for-nfl-player-jaylen-ferguson's-death

Baltimore authorities revealed this Sunday that the linebacker of the Ravens in the NFL, Jaylon Ferguson, who died last June, would have died from a “mixture of drugs” as revealed by a report.

According to a statement from the spokesman for the city’s Forensic Department for TMZ Sports, Ferguson died as a result of the “mixture of fentanyl drugs and cocaine”, although they noted that his death was also classified as accident.

Although the coroners were emphatic about the player’s cause of death, the truth is that they did not add any other details about the event.

At that time, Ferguson was found unconscious in his residence and although they tried to transfer him to a medical attention center, he was pronounced dead before the arrival of the assistance services.

By the time of his death, at 26 years old, Ferguson had already disputed 38 games in the NFL, after being selected in the third round of the draft in 2019. He was averaging 4.5 sacks and 67 tackles.

The Ferguson event is not the first death in 2022 that has shaken the NFL. Last May 30 Jeff Gladney died in a traffic accident while traveling on a highway near downtown Dallas, Texas.

Days later, the news of Ferguson was known and later the legend of the NFL, Tony Siragusa, died of causes still unknown. 2022
