The Mexican Daniel “Cejitas” Valladares was proclaimed this Friday the minimum weight world champion of the International Boxing Federation (IBF) by defeating the Filipino Rene Mark Cuarto by split decision.
The scores with which the local snatched the title were 115-111 Y 115-111 in your favor and 113-113 for Mark Fourth.
Valladares has 11 trumps, by knockout, 3 losses and 1 draw. The Asian boxer stayed in trumps, on the fast track, 3 losses and 2 draws.
The contest was held at the Deportivo Revolución in Monterrey, Nuevo León, a little more from 900 kilometers north of Mexico City.

It was the second fight for Iglesias; last May he obtained his first victory by overcoming Brandon Pérez, another Mexican, by knockout in the second round in his professional debut
