The singer Juan Son, former vocalist of the Mexican rock band Porter, shared through his YouTube channel the sexual abuse he suffered from his father when he was a child.
“ He would go into my room and my whole room would become like a story; It was strange because it became like Sleeping Beauty, Maleficent’s palace, the bricks were like green, it was my same room but it was done that way. He came in and raped me, covered my mouth and wouldn’t let me breathe“, he commented.
Juan commented that on many occasions he told his mother about the sexual abuse his father committed against him, but she always made him look like he had a mental illness.
“My mom is the toughest and cruelest person I’ve ever met, she was very manipulative. She understood that if she made people believe that I was a person with mental problems, she would atone.”
Throughout the video, the singer reported that several psychiatrists treated him and one told him that It was not normal to have venereal diseases at age 8.
“It was hard because I constantly had venereal diseases as a child, I thought it was normal because as a child you don’t understand, like I urinated on knives. My mom used to pill me and thought it was normal. I remember that that psychiatrist, Fernando Moreno, told me: “You don’t need any pills, the ones who are sick are your parents”, he said.
