However, the Florida club managed to wake up and get back on the scoreboard thanks to goals from Uruguayan Facundo Torres in the minute 57′ and Ercan Kara in the 66′. But DC United quickly reacted and scored the fourth goal through Kimarni Smith in the 74′.
Being down again by two goals, Orlando once again gave signs of life thanks to Brazilian striker Alexander Pato, who scored from the penalty spot to the minute 80, leaving ten minutes to go in which it seemed that both teams were playing for classification.
The visitors fought in a great way and despite the fact that the game had up to eight minutes of addition, they could not score the equalizer and instead received the fifth against through the Dutchman Nigel Robertha al 90+6′.
