Colombian singer J Balvin has managed to amass a large fortune with each musical success and it is not surprising that he spends those millions on luxury properties inside and outside his native country.
Two years ago the singer opened the doors of his home in Medellín, Colombia, to the cameras of ‘Architectural Digest’, although as it was in full confinement due to covid-19 had to be himself who recorded all the spaces.
When he opened the door he said that he had nothing to hide and began to walk down a large Japanese-style corridor illuminated with natural light.
J Balvin says that when he went to Japan he connected with his energy and wanted it to be present at home. “I call it a temple, because it is like a temple, without a doubt. I have this place to rest, you know, to feel calm and relaxed”, he says.
The property stands out for its high ceilings and for the wood present in each space. Your room is a kind of fish tank, since most of the walls are made of glass, allowing you to have a relaxing view of the outside. In the room there is also a large bed and a large flat screen TV.
What stands out the most in the master bedroom is the large dressing room, which he qualifies as one of his favorite places. He has many shoes and clothes, as he is passionate about fashion. All the clothes are divided by color, giving a certain order to the place.
The Colombian also confesses that he likes sleep in different rooms, not just the master bedroom. It is not known if at present and with a son he continues to comply with that custom.
J Balvin’s library is full of books on fashion, design and architecture. Right to one side there is a kind of bar, which is available to family and friends because he does not drink.
The kitchen stands out for its light brown cupboards. The appliances are not visible but inside those same cupboards.
Outside there is a terrace and a large swimming pool to spend pleasant days outdoors. When the singer recorded the video it was rainy so the whole space was wet.
