The reporter for Russia’s TVC channel, Andrey Alexeyev, suffered several shrapnel wounds in Donetsk during a bombardment by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the television channel said on Monday.
“ A TVC reporter, assistant cameraman Andrey Alexeyev, was injured during a Ukrainian shelling of Donetsk,” the statement said.
The reporter is currently in a hospital, preparing for surgery.
Ukrainian forces have been shelling Donetsk since morning, according to Vladimir Putin’s forces said. Donetsk Mayor Alexey Kulemzin revealed that the shelling damaged four kindergartens, residential blocks, a school, a company and the Zasyadko mine.
Last 19 June, the Ukrainian security services “organized the filming of private houses in Nikolayev”, which were allegedly leveled by attacks by the Russian army, according to Colonel General Mikhail Mizintsev, head of the Russian National Defense Management Center.
“According to reliable information, it has been established that in Nikolayev, the Ukrainian security services organized preparations for video shootings showing cas private houses allegedly destroyed in the bombardment by the Russian Armed Forces, leaving local residents homeless”, assured Mizintsev.
“More than 40 actors for the shootout, and all participants received a cash reward of about $25 dollars”, he said.
Putin orders to continue offensive in Ukraine after controlling Luhansk region
Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered this Monday the Russian forces to continue their offensive in eastern Ukraine, after conquering the entire Luhansk region.
The Russian forces “must carry out their missions se according to previously approved plans, ”Putin declared, during a meeting with his Defense Minister, Sergei Shoigu, broadcast on television.
“I hope everything goes well in his direction as it happened in Luhansk so far”, he added.
Shoigu indicated to Putin this weekend that Russian troops had complete control of the Luhansk region, a major victory for the Kremlin more than four months after the start of a military offensive in Ukraine.
