why-is-david-beckham's-daughter-embarrassed-and-calls-her-mother's-clothes-“unacceptable”?

Many fashion lovers would give anything to have access to the archive where Victoria Beckham keeps some of the most iconic clothes she wore throughout her career as a pop star, such as the total leather look that she matched her husband, former soccer player David Beckham.

Unfortunately, her only daughter has no interest in rescuing those outfits that, in many cases, are once again an absolute trend. In fact, Harper dies of embarrassment every time she sees an old photo of her mother and does not approve of her dressing so provocatively.

“She is not one of those girls who goes out on the street with a full face of makeup and a crop top. In fact, she recently told me, ‘Mom, I’ve seen some pictures of when you were in the Spice Girls and your skirts were just unacceptable. They were too short.’ Then David jumped in to add, ‘You’re right, Harper!’ And I was serious, I was quite upset about how short my skirts were, ”explained the designer in a new interview with Vogue Australia.

Unlike Victoria, who at her daughter’s age got into trouble for putting on lipstick to go to school, so far Harper has only shown signs of having inherited the passion for his father’s sport. This greatly reassures her mother, since, unlike her older brothers, the girl is not on social networks nor is she interested in making her way as a model or influencer.

“Seeing what cruel people can be, it does worry me. She is at that age where her body is going to start to change, but the important thing is to make sure that we communicate a lot as a family and that she surrounds herself with good friends. But it’s pretty scary, I can’t lie,” she admitted.
