Fans of the series ‘The Golden Girls’ (‘The Golden Years’) now have a new place to live an experience quite similar to that of the characters played by Betty White, Bea Arthur, Rue McClanahan and Estelle Getty .

The aforementioned place is a restaurant in Beverly Hills that opens its doors this Saturday 30 of July and which is part of The Golden Girls Kitchen project, inspired by the successful series and that has the idea of ​​creating restaurants in other cities with New York, Miami, San Francisco and Chicago.

This whole idea is directed by Bucket Listers, which is a company that is in charge of organize recreational activities and original events in different cities.

According to what was reviewed in ‘Architectural Digest’, this restaurant recreates the kitchen of the protagonists and has also inspired its menu in the series that was broadcast on television since 1985 until 1992, is currently available on the Hulu platform.

The space was designed by the artist Rob Fidel and its execution was carried out together with the prop expert Brittany Matyas. It is said that to outfit the venue, the team visited thrift stores in Los Angeles to find all the necessary items such as appliances, lace rugs and more.

In addition to recreating the kitchen where the characters were during several of the 150 episodes, the restaurant also offers other spaces such as a bar that refers to the retirement home where Sophia (Estelle Getty) lived before moving in with her daughter Dorothy (Bea Arthur) and another space that recreates Blanche’s room (Rue McClanahan).
