Jason Momoa is revealing some secrets about ‘Aquaman 2’ and, posting on Instagram, he confirmed that Ben Affleck will return to play Batman in the film, reprising his role for the first time since ‘Justice League’.
The information was kept secret for so long, since the tape even has a release date for March 2023 and it seems that Jason decided to reveal it in his social networks.
“TOGETHER. Bruce and Arthur Curry. I love and miss you Ben!” he wrote in his post. He went on to explain that Warner Bros, the studio responsible for turning DC comics into movies, was hosting a tour of the studio and fans saw the two men filming there.
“The WB studio tours just explored the backlot well. they broke all the great things that come with ‘AQUAMAN 2’ on set,” he said.
With Ben to return as Batman in ‘And the Lost Kingdom’, the cast also highlights the stars who returning: Jason, Dolph Lundgren, Patrick Wilson, Temuera Morrison and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
Amber Heard is, of course, expected to return in the role of Meera, although rumors point to that her weight in the plot, and in the sequences, has been lowered considerably after her media litigation with her ex-husband Johnny Depp.
Affleck previously announced his retirement as Batman in 2019 and has been open about the personal and professional conflicts that come with the role. So, it came as a surprise two years ago when it was revealed that Affleck was dressing up once again for ‘The Flash,’ the movie starring Ezra Miller due out June 23. of 2023 and which will also feature Michael Keaton as Batman.

“I had a really bad experience on ‘Justice League’ for a lot of different reasons. Without blaming anyone, many things happened. But really what happened is that I was not happy. I didn’t like being there, ”he confessed in an interview with Variety.
