Cat food brand Fancy Feast will open a pop-up restaurant in New York in August serving humans inspired by cat food.
The restaurant “Gatto Bianco by Fancy Feast ” has the concept of an Italian-style trattoria.
Fancy Feast says cat-loving diners will enjoy a complimentary tasting menu that will transport them to Italy for the night.
The plates at Gatto Bianco will help cat owners understand how their cats experience food, from taste to texture to shape.
The menu was developed by Fancy Feast chef Amanda Hassner and renowned Italian Michelin star chef Cesare Casella.
According to a statement from the cat food brand owned by Nestlé Purina, the trattoria will celebrate the launch of Fancy Feast Medleys. The dishes they will offer are inspired by the recipes of the new line and pay homage to traditional Italian cuisine.
Gatto Bianco will only be open on Thursday 11 in August and Friday 12 in August, you will be between the Far West Village and the Meatpacking District.
The restaurant will be open for dinner at 6: 30 pm Reservations for Gatto Bianco are limited, you will have four reservations per night, each for two people over 21 years old.

For cat lovers who cannot go to the Gatto Bianco restaurant, Fancy Feast shares on its website recipes inspired by the restaurant’s menu to experience the flavors of Italy and the cats’ sensory experience with food.
According to Purina’s announcement, “the Gatto Bianco experience is based on the success of the Fancy Feast cookbook, launched in 2021, and it’s the newest way for Fancy Feast to show cat owners the pleasure it brings to cats at every meal.
