The heavy rains caused flooding in parking lots, airports and the entire Las Vegas Strip, an area where some of the most famous casinos and hotels in the world are located.

Through Social networks circulated images showing the streets of Sin City hit by floods. Other videos show how some roads became small rivers, in addition to the water pouring through the casinos.

Las Vegas Fire Information Officer Tim Szymansk told The New York Post that so far have no report of injured people.

Heavy rains filled countless buildings as the city launched a flash flood and a severe storm warning.

A video was shared on Twitter showing water coming out of a hole in the roof of the Planet Hollywood Casino on Las Vegas Boulevard.

The images show how employees of the place record the incredible scene with their cell phones.

One of the most symbolic hotels in Las Vegas, Caesar’s Palace, did not come out unscathed, as the roof could not contain the water, which spilled on the carpets, showed another video shared on Twitter.

The House of Circa betting was also affected, its carpets ended up soaked with water, it is seen in a video shown from inside.

In In an interview with The New York Post, a Las Vegas resident named Alexander Wolf recounted his experience during the storm.

“The lightning was almost constant and the power went out several times (…) The electrical surges activated the fire alarms of several buildings, which caused the firefighters to go to the storm to respond to them”, Wolf detailed to the middle.

The heavy rains also affected the local airports, with the delay of several of the flights.
