Estarling Martínez Cabral, a young man aged 20, turned himself in to the police, who was looking for him as a suspect in at least two sexual assaults in New York City.
Martínez turned himself in accompanied by a lawyer in Brooklyn, reported Pix11. The 20 July, allegedly dragged a woman from 33 years down the stairs of a building on 69th St on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and sexually assaulted her before leave on a scooter.
Four days later, Martínez allegedly also groped a young woman from 20 years inside the Carroll St Subway station in Brooklyn. Apparently he covered her mouth to prevent her from screaming, but she managed to free herself, according to the authorities.
Martinez, a Brooklyn resident, was charged with attempted rape and sexual assault. All charges are mere accusations and the persons prosecuted are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
