After a person in Illinois wins this Friday the top prize of $1,280 million dollars of the Mega Millions, the sum of the next drawing begins in $29 million.
The circulation will take place on Tuesday, August 2, at 11 pm Eastern Time.
Draws for this lottery game are held every Tuesday and Friday at the aforementioned time.

The Mega Millions lottery confirmed this Saturday that the winning ticket was sold at a Speedway gas station on East Touhy Avenue in Des Plaines.
A worker from the The station confirmed to FOX Business that they received a call from the Illinois Lottery to confirm that the winner purchased the ticket on the spot.
“Well, obviously, it’s a surprise, but I’m happy someone from Illinois was able to win“, said the worker whose name was not disclosed.
At the moment, the lucky man or woman has not been identified and it is possible that they remain anonymous, since the lottery rules of that state provide that option to those who win $1 million or more in lottery games.

To claim the prize, the winner of the $1,280 million in the most recent Mega Millions drawing – the second largest in the history of that game of chance – you can choose 30 annual payments over 29 year os or a single cash payment. Under this last alternative, the estimated amount is $747.2 million, about $280.5 million after payment of taxes.
