The Argentinian Sebastián Blanco signed this Saturday the fourth fastest goal in MLS history, in the 4-4 draw between his team, the Portland Timbers, and Minnesota United.

Blanco, born in Lomas de Zamora in 1988 and former Lanús player, barely needed 13 seconds to complete a choral action by his team with a crossed left-footed shot that struck down the rival goalkeeper.

Blanco, who also finished the game with a brace, is now the scorer of the fourth fastest goal in MLS history, behind Canadian Dwayne Rosario (11 seconds), Australian Tim Cahill (8 seconds) and American Mike Grella (7 seconds).

Minnesota United occupies the third position in the MLS Western Conference, thirteen points behind Los Angeles FC of Mexican Carlos Vela and Welshman Gareth Bale, solid leader.

The Timbers are seventh in the West, in the middle of the fight for playoff spots.
