Now shoppers can buy refurbished items with confidence with Walmart Restored, the new program created by the retailer to help customers discover refurbished products at low prices every day.
“ In a year when customers are looking for ways to save money, refurbished-like-new products have become an increasingly popular way to cut costs without sacrificing quality,” Walmart said in a statement. “At Walmart, we already work with sellers and vendors on Walmart.com who are committed to restoring high-quality products and preparing them for a new home at a fraction of typical costs.”
Items will be easy to find and shop with the Walmart Restored program designation, whether they visit the Walmart Restored section of Walmart.com or see pop-up items on search.
The retailer’s statement notes that customers will be able to purchase quality refurbished items from brands like Apple, Samsung, KitchenAid and more.
“When customers buy a product in the Walmart Restored program, whether it is a laptop or a kitchen appliance, they can be sure that they are buying from top-notch managed performance vendors and suppliers,” he said Walmart.
According to the information, all the products listed on the site have been inspected professionally tested and cleaned, and if for any reason a customer is not satisfied, they will have 90 days to make free returns so they can buy with confidence.
The program will also provide customers with the option and opportunity to extend the shelf life of products. And just in time for back-to-school shopping, the retailer is celebrating the start of Walmart Restored with promotional prices from sellers on various items ranging from headphones to tablets to sewing machines.
