A man of 34 years, who had a criminal record for domestic violence, was shot to death on Sunday night in Río Grande, the Police reported this Monday.
The deceased was identified as Joshua Armando Correa Avellar.
According to the Police, a call to the 9-1-1 Emergency System alerted the authorities about a person gunshot wound in the Estancias del Sol urbanization of the aforementioned Río Grande municipality.
When the agents arrived at the scene, they found the body of Correa Avellar, who had multiple gunshot wounds that caused his death and in circumstances that are under investigation.
The agent Luis Alejandro, assigned to the Homicide Division of the Fajardo Criminal Investigation Corps, together with the prosecutor Daphne Franco Avilés, investigated these events.
