The Oregon Medical Examiner’s Office is investigating that the latest 10 deaths could be caused by the heat that has hit the state.

Multnomah County authorities reported that all reported deaths occurred in Portland. In Clackmas County, he confirmed that an elderly man died in a house that did not have air conditioning.

The temperature at Portland International Airport reached or exceeded 95 °F for “6 days in a row, with 3 of them at or just above 100 degrees ”, revealed the National Weather Service.

It is likely that the final cause of death will not be known until several months later.

According to meteorologist Haley Brink, more than 13 million people around the northwest were under a heat alert Sunday. The affected cities are: Portland, Seattle. Billings, Montana, Boise and Idaho.
