Dallas authorities are investigating the death of a man who, according to police, died after shooting a woman in the neck, before the shot went out and fatally wounded him in the leg.
The incident occurred on Saturday around 11: 30 in the morning, on the block of the Medical District near Bengal Street.
Authorities said police officers saw a large amount of blood and a trail of blood in front of a residence, but no one was inside.
A few minutes later they received a call at a nearby health center about a man and a woman woman with gunshot wounds who were found in a vehicle. Officials realized it was related to the shooting at the apartment.
The initial investigation found that the gunman, identified as Byron Redmon, of 26 years, shot the woman in the neck, the bullet immediately came out and fatally wounded. The woman’s name was not released.
It is not known exactly what caused the situation, how the people knew each other and what they were doing at the time of the shooting. However, the authorities said that the investigation into this fact is ongoing.
