Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson received a six-game suspension for the season on Monday 550 from the NFL for sexual misconduct.

The ruling was issued by former Federal District Judge Sue Robinson, who headed the Disciplinary Committee appointed by the NFL together with the Players Association (NFLPA), after the demands received by the quarterback in March of 2021.

The 21 last June Deshaun Watson reached confidential agreements with 20 of the 21 women who filed those civil lawsuits in the who accused him of sexual misconduct during massage therapy sessions.

That is why the determination includes the requirement that Watson not receive more therapeutic massages than those performed by his team’s personnel.

Despite those confidential agreements that prevented the lawsuits from taking their course in June, the Disciplinary Committee evaluated the quarterback’s situation for three days and announced that it would issue a verdict before the start of the season 2022.

The former Houston Texans quarterback, who signed a contract in March for $230 million dollars with the Cleveland Browns, he will not receive an additional fine for his behavior.
