New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge won the Major League Player of the Week award for the second consecutive time, due to another great performance that stole all eyes from baseball lovers.

Judge lived a dream week when he hit five home runs that helped him break the record for the most home runs for a Yankees player before the month of August, hitting the ball 33 against the Kansas City Royals and beating Babe Ruth.

In addition to the home runs, ‘El Juez’ had an unstoppable performance in the he played six games, averaging .348 average, driving in ten runs and scoring seven; he also had eight hits in 23 plate appearances.

All this has earned him to continue increasing his personal numbers and keep the race towards the Most Valuable Player of the season 2022, leading the Major Leagues in HR (42), RBI (87) and Scored (69) in 100 games.

In addition, he has been the offensive spark plug for the Yankees who continue to be the team with the best record in MLB product of 69 victories and 33 losses.

Along with Judge, Arizona Diamondbacks right-hander Merril Kelly (15- 5) was chosen as a Player of the National League by going 1-0 with a .000 ERA in 15 innings of work.

For Judge, this was the fifth time he has won the weekly award, while Kelly adds his first distinction.2022
