The fight that Jake Paul was going to have against Hasim Rahman Jr. was canceled last 30 July, so now the vlogger and YouTuber is looking for a new rival for this 2022 and everything points -again- to boxing legend Mike Tyson.
According to a recent interview for DANZ Boxing Show, Jake Paul absolutely wants to have a new fight and once again considers Tyson as a possible opponent to beat.
“I think ideally Mike Tyson would be a potential opponent. We have talked about what could be happening at the end of this year or the beginning of next”, commented the younger brother of the Pauls, without giving further details.
However, although he wants to face the heavyweight in the ring, he would also have two other rivals in mind if the fight does not take place: the expeller from MMA Anderson Silva and another from Mixed Martial Arts such as Nate Díaz.
“Anderson Silva ranks high on that list and Nate Diaz also ranks very high on that list, so that’s probably all three options right now,” he added.
Although Paul and his entourage dream of getting Mike Tyson out of retirement, the truth is that a few months ago the boxer revealed that he would only fight Jake Paul for the ‘small’ amount of $1,000,000,000 dollars, so it seems unlikely that it will happen in the future.
