sergio-aguero-on-erling-haaland:-he-thought-he-was-alone-and-they-welcomed-him-to-the-premier-league

Erling Haaland made his debut with Manchester City in an official match, precisely in the final of the Community Shield against Liverpool. In fact, the Anfield team took the victory three by one and the Norwegian could not add his first goal with the citizen’s shirt.

Due to his ineffectiveness in the commitment, the Argentine and former Manchester City forward, reiterated that the Norwegian thought he was going to be alone like in Germany and did not expect Virgil Van Dijk’s defense to welcome him to England as it is.

“ I was too used to Germany. Haaland thought he was alone, then Van Dijk came and said welcome to the Premier League“, commented the Argentine.

“He had chances. Two or three in the first part and another in the second. He was always there, then a lot and made good moves. It’s good for him that he sees the reality of playing in a new country, in a new league. He was there. He didn’t score today, but he will score another day”, concluded the former striker.

It is important to note that Manchester City paid a large amount to Borussia Dortmund, in short, more than $ million dollars with the mission of reinforcing their forward for the upcoming football season on the old continent.

Despite not having scored a goal in the final of the Community Shield, it does not take away the importance and power that Manchester City will have with the presence of the Norwegian in the attacker who has just scored 62 goals in 67 parties.
