unusual:-soccer-player-expelled-for-touching-the-private-parts-of-a-rival-player

A rather unusual event occurred on matchday nine of Argentine first division football, precisely in the match between Lanús and Velez, in which a player was sent off for touching a rival’s private parts.

The main judge sent the youth player from Lanús Mateo Sanabria straight to the locker room for violating the back of the player from Velez Francisco Ortega.

From the beginning the match was quite intense, and with a lot of friction The incident occurred precisely at minute 63′, when the score was 1-1.

Ortega covered the ball and the youth player from Lanús tried to recover it. It was then that he decided to touch Ortega’s private parts.

The victim reacted and, turning around, pushed the man from Lanús to send him straight to the grass. The whistler Luis Lobo Medina scored only one foul, but later the VAR detailed the play to determine what had happened.

After seeing the play in slow motion, he decided to show Sanabria the red card. After that, the match became somewhat aggressive between the rivals, but in the end it did not get any bigger.

Finally the match ended with a 2-2 draw.
