Justin Bieber had no choice but to suspend his ‘Justice’ tour after suffering facial paralysis derived from Ramsay Hunt syndrome that had been diagnosed. In an Instagram video, the Canadian idol did not hesitate to show his followers the difficulties he had in gesturing with his face while apologizing to them for having been forced to temporarily cancel his world tour.
In the following weeks, his wife Hailey Bieber was duly informing the public about the progress that the singer had made in his return to normality, and the latest photos that emerged of the pop star portrayed him increasingly smiling and animated. His full recovery, assured the model, was a matter of time.
This weekend, and despite the fact that some concerts included in the ‘Justice’ show are still pending rescheduling, the artist returned to get on stage to delight those attending the Lucca Summer Festival, in the Italian Tuscany. The emotion derived from his triumphant return to live music did not go unnoticed among those present.
“Guys, I want to thank you for having me back. This is my first day and I am delighted to be here”, he addressed the audience with a broad smile, before making a speech about equality and tolerance that have become the hallmark of his battered tour.
“As many of you know , the ‘Justice’ tour is about equality. It doesn’t matter what you look like, your shape, your size or your ethnicity. We are all the same, we are all one”Justin Bieber
Waiting to find out the new dates for the shows in Toronto and Washington, as well as in other North American cities, which he had to postpone last June, the singer will continue his tour of the European continent over the next few months before make the leap to Australia. The end of the ‘Justice’ tour is scheduled for the spring of 2023, as can be deduced from the information reflected on his website.
