The New York Red Bulls have not finished raising their heads and after having allowed five goals against Orlando City in the semifinals of the US Open Cup last Wednesday, now a week later they once again conceded a ‘little hand’ against Colorado Rapids, falling at home 4-5
It seemed like a quiet night for the Red Bulls, who were ahead 2-0 after nine minutes, but the Rapids had a forceful reaction fueled by Diego Rubio, with his tenth target of the season.
The Scotsman Lewis Morgan again put land in the middle in the first half with the 3-1, but that was not enough to contain the momentum of the Rapids, who cut distances at the edge of the break with Keegan Rosenberry and turned the scoreboard at the restart.
Collen Warner and Michael Barrios scored 3-3 and 4-3 between the minute 77 and the 80 and left some Red Bulls touched who received the 5-3 in the 89 , the work of Dantouma Touré.
The 4-5 goal, signed at minute 97, from a penalty, by Tom Barlow, was of little use.
In the other game this Tuesday, a penalty converted by the Uruguayan Nicolás Lodeiro decided the victory of the Seattle Sounders against Dallas FC (1-0).
