Gaby Ramírez, television presenter, decided that it was the right time to denounce the alleged harassment to which she was subjected by comedian Sergio Verduzco, better known in the artistic world as the clown Platanito, whose performances in front of the camera they are generally bawdy.
According to the testimony of the driver exposed in the program “Gossip No Like” everything happened when, a few years ago, when she participated in a recording of Estrella TV, where the little clown was considered an idol.
The affected woman assures that Sergio Verduzco touched her body without her consent.
“One day I was invited to the ‘Show de Platanito’… we were doing the normal contest when suddenly he says, ‘well, thank you very much, it’s over. Thank you very much Karina for being there and she grabbed my chest. He knows, he grabbed me without my permission”, she mentioned.
Gaby acknowledged that at that moment she was perplexed by the audacity of the comedian dressed in the clown suit.
“I was like an idiot, -wondering if it was- part of the skit, ‘what did he say, slap him? I was cold, so I grabbed and went to the control room, in the past the owner, Mr. Liberman, was there, and I said, ‘Hey, did you give the order for Platanito to grab my bust?’”, he recalled.
She was kicked out of the studio for denouncing her aggressor
However, far from being supported by the directors of the television station in the face of the breach of trust that Platanito had incurred, Gaby Ramírez was not only forced to offer an apology to the character who had groped her, but they also ended up kicking her out of the recording studio.
“They even took me out of the studio with my son on orders from Platanito. What’s more, they forced me to bring a flower arrangement to Platanito and I left it for him at the hotel where he was staying. That because it occurred to me to claim him…”, he concluded.
