Using the excuse of the series starring “Hasta que la Plata nos Separe” (Telemundo), it is a good time to ask Carmen Villalobos and Sebastián Martínez how they manage their money.
“ In my childhood I had to spend difficult moments of money with my family. So, of course, the same, and that marks you a little bit and you say, oh, I don’t want to go back!… one is very scared, ‘marked’, isn’t it?”, says Sebastián about his own reality with money.
While Carmen Villalobos has also overcome her limitations and was unable to continue studying.
“In my case, for example, I always wanted to enter a university and I couldn’t. At the time, my dad said ‘there is no money!’; that is, there is no money, ‘see what you do’, and one is like “oh, what am I doing, my God!” through my work and the money to be able to help families who can study, for me that is super gratifying. But yes, in general, I value every peso that I earn and that I continue to earn to this day”.
Besides helping others, what do you like to spend money on?
“More than buying your handbag, buying branded shoes, in fact, I don’t spend much, I think almost nothing on that, I spend more than anything to make my family happy”, says Carmen .
“Right now I am spending money with my son on go-karts, supporting him in his sport, which is motorsports, that is his dream, that it is an expensive sport (also) in cars and motorcycles I like to spend; and in technology, but the technology thing has slowed down a bit”, Sebastián concludes.
