Several hooded and armed thieves violently attacked the home of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, an FC Barcelona footballer, in Castelldefels. Fortunately, the Gabonese striker is fine, despite receiving a blow.
According to El País and confirmed to Efe sources close to the case, this assault occurred around 1: 00 am this Monday, 29 August. The assailants reportedly fled the scene in a white Audi car.
When they broke into the home, the thieves threatened and beat Aubameyang and her partner to get them to open the safe, from which valuables were taken, so it was a consummated violent robbery, according to sources.
This is the second robbery this summer at Aubameyang’s house, since some thieves also entered his home weeks ago, as reported to Efe sources close to the case. On that occasion, there was no one at the soccer player’s house when the thieves entered, according to El Periódico.
The Mossos d’Esquadra have opened an investigation to try to identify, locate and arrest the perpetrators of the violent robbery that occurred this past dawn.
For its part, FC Barcelona has provided assistance and support to the footballer, who is well , and his family, according to sources close to the case.

Before entering the Barça sports complex to train, the player lowered the window of his car to sign some autographs to the fans, moment in which a man snatched the luxury watch that he was wearing on his wrist.
On 18 August, the Mossos d ‘Esquadra with the help of the Local Police of Sant Joan Despí (Barcelona) arrested the alleged perpetrator of this robbery.
