Authorities are searching for a knife-wielding suspect who stabbed a man on an MTA bus in Harlem in early August.

The offender stabbed a 38 year old man in the right forearm and then cut him on the right hand in an unprovoked attack, police said.

The assault took place on a bus headed near West 135th Street and Lenox Avenue around 1 a.m. on August 11, officials revealed.

In the images revealed by the New York police You can see the suspect sitting up before lunging at the victim and allegedly grabbing her right arm.

When the criminal leaves the camera, the passengers of the transport vehicle can be seen fleeing from the incident.

The victim went to the Harlem Hospital in stable condition.

The New York authorities asked the public to call 1-888-577-Tips (8477) or in Spanish at 1- 888-22-Clue (8477) if they have information that could lead to the location of the suspect in question.
