The story of a TikTok user from Nuevo León, Mexico, called Madi Molina, has gone viral in recent days after in one of her clips she stated how a priest was about to ruin her wedding.
Madi got married on 11 March of this year; however, she did not have the wedding she had so dreamed of, and it was all because of the priest who officiated at her wedding mass, who, according to the bride, was quite reckless in his sermon, and in general, had a very bad attitude.
The first thing that marred their wedding was that the parish where they would celebrate it was closed just when they arrived. So, the boyfriend went to look for someone who could tell them what was happening while Molina waited.
Minutes later, the priest appeared at the door of the church, asking everyone to enter. The woman asked him to wait a few seconds because her boyfriend was not there, which the priest refused. “Mass starts at 4, with a boyfriend or without a boyfriend,” she would have answered rudely.
Madi had to enter the church alone and later her partner did it, already a so rushed. As if that were not enough, the priest began to talk about topics that were out of place, such as killing another person.
“The father started talking about what it meant to kill and I was like, why in my wedding is going to talk about death when it is supposed to be talking about love, commitment, everything that marriage means?”, described the girl in her clip.
In the video shared by Molina you can clearly hear the priest stating that women are manipulative, mainly with their husbands.
“He then mentioned that men had a little brain and that women, it was scientifically proven, had more intellect than them and that is why we took the opportunity to manipulate them”, she added.
But it was not the only macho thing that the clergyman said and shared the fragment of a video in which he is heard saying: “Women have this disease of despising their husbands. The women drag us along, they don’t treat us as equals”.
As expected, his story generated hundreds of comments in which most users criticized the attitude of the priest, who apparently, usually has that behavior at weddings.
