Putting yourself in Jennifer Lopez’s shoes was a fun adventure for Connie Peña, J.Lo’s famous double, who caught fans and even some photographers who followed her down the popular Rodeo Drive street in red-handed Los Angeles thinking she was the Latin star.
Connie P, as the dancer and singer now calls herself, wore a sexy blouse and tight pants, like the ones worn by the wife of Ben Affleck, so as not to be recognized.
As she passed, people approached her, took pictures of her or asked her for a selfie.
The double was guarded by a security element that practically “scared” those who approached her.
“We wanted to make that content, the video, with an influencer named Henry, because he tells me and the media always ask me: Is it serious that they confuse you with J.Lo?
“I tell them yes, every time, all the time, that’s why I proposed or go shopping on Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles,” said Connie, who lives in Las Vegas.
The singer, who has the same curves as J.Lo, asked for security to do this experiment.
“It’s really heavy”, he commented, “the experience is nice, but people do come closer . So they put security on me, and we went to Rodeo, and he was able to capture the scenes when people came up to me or yelled at me.
The video special they recorded is called ‘A Day in the J.Lo’s shoes.
