luis-fonsi-and-his-resignation-from-music:-adamari-lopez's-ex-confesses-that-he-was-about-to-leave-everything-due-to-emotional-problems

Although he has been an artist for more than two decades, Luis Fonsi confesses that he was about to give up his dream of belonging to the musical world due to strong emotional problems that began in his adolescence.

The singer pointed out on the program “Déjate Querer” that he believed that having studied music since he was a child would open many doors for him; however, moving from his native Puerto Rico to the United States and having to deal with a new language made him depressed to the point of wanting to throw in the towel.

“When I was 11 years that I moved was a strong year, I fell into depression and stopped singing, I did not feel comfortable. Some time later, when I was at university, I also had a very bad time because I had a lot of insecurities. In the third year it cost me a lot. I no longer identified with my classmates, it was all classical music and that’s when I started to despair”, Luis confessed.

Finally, the interpreter of “Despacito” affirmed that once he was able to overcome his bad streak and finding his own style things began to change until he finally achieved international recognition. He also thanked his wife for the support she has given him over more than ten years of loving relationship.
