This Saturday, September 3rd, National Film Day is celebrated in the United States and for that reason people will be able to purchase $3 dollar tickets.

After the fans were away from giant screens due to the sanitary measures imposed by the authorities due to the Covid-pandemic 19, are now returning to watch their favorite titles and this weekend they will be able to do it with friends or family because tickets will be more affordable.

The discount is thanks to the efforts of The Cinema Foundation, a non-profit group of the National Association of Movie Theater Owners.

Thanks to this association, about 3 , rooms with more than 30,000 screens, including AMC, Regal and other non-franchise theaters.

No doubt National Movie Day will captivate the interest of the population and a large afl is expected uence of moviegoers or fans who will be able to attend their favorite movie with family and friends because the ticket to each performance will be priced at $3 dollars in all formats.

All people interested in buying their ticket(s) can enter the National Film Day page to check the participating theaters and the movies available in theaters.

Jackie Brenneman, president of the Cinema Foundation, pointed out that after the unprecedented return of people to theaters, it had to be celebrated.

“After the unprecedented return to theaters this summer, we wanted to do something to celebrate moviegoing,” said Brenneman. “We’re doing it by offering a ‘thank you’ to the moviegoers who made this summer possible and offering an additional incentive for those who haven’t returned yet.”

Cinema Foundation revealed that National Film Day will be part of a test to see if the discount could become an event held in the United States year after year.
