PSG continues to strengthen its squad and this Tuesday, a few hours after the end of the transfer market in most of the major European football leagues, it confirmed the arrival of its new star from Napoli: Fabián Ruiz.
After four seasons at the Italian club, Ruiz decided to take on new challenges for the Parisian club at the express request of PSG’s new manager, Christophe Galtier, at a rate of just over 24 million dollars your transfer.
The player can develop in different positions in the midfield and will join the institution for the next five years, ensuring his bond until 30 June 2027 as read in the official statement posted on social networks.
Upon his arrival, he commented that he hopes to give the best possible performance on the pitch and also aspires to win many titles alongside Neymar Jr., Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappé.
During his stay at Napoli Fabián scored 24 goals and 15 assists in 67 games, numbers that he supported by winning the Coppa Italia in 2020.
Ruiz will also share a dressing room at PSG with up to five Spaniards who live in the institution, such as Sergio Ramos, Juan Bernat, the young Ismaël Gharbi and the players recently arrived from their respective loans Pablo Sarabia (Sporting Lisboa) and Sergio Rico (Majorca).
The curious thing is that this number of Spaniards could increase due to rumors that Carlos Soler, Valencia CF midfielder, could also be bought by the French. Said operation would be around $22 million dollars according to the newspaper L’Equipe.
