dmitry-bivol-on-his-rival-after-facing-zurdo-ramirez:-“it-bothers-me-a-little-to-think-that-i-have-to-fight-canelo'-alvarez-later”

The Russian Dmitri Bivol, light heavyweight champion of the World Boxing Association, said this Wednesday that it bothers him to think that after facing the Mexican Gilberto ‘Zurdo’ Ramírez on November 5, he will continue a second fight with Saúl ‘Canelo’ Álvarez .

“Now I have a great fight with a great boxer, but it bothers me a little to think that I have to fight ‘Canelo’ or Artur Beterbiyev later. Sometimes you feel like you want to fight against all the boxers, but I will try to be focused to beat ‘Zurdo’”, he explained at a press conference.

Bivol will present his light heavyweight title against Ramírez who has an undefeated in 44 fights, in a fight that will be played at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on November 5.

“I have to be focused on this fight and not on Canelo. Whenever I have a fight I focus on it, but of course I have big plans in my head, I want to be the best fighter in the world and have more belts. Ramírez is a great boxer because he is undefeated, he is bigger than me; It will be a great challenge“, added Bivol, undefeated in 20 fights, 11 won by knockout.

For his part, Ramírez dedicated himself to praising Bivol but also made it clear that he is the experienced one and that it is not for nothing that he has the record of victories he has.

“Bivol is one of the best in his division, he’s one of the best in boxing. I congratulate him for beating Canelo, that was a great night for Bivol, he won by unanimous decision, but what can I say, I have a record of 30-0“, he expressed.

Ramírez, who of his 44 triumphs won 30 by KO, he will seek to be world champion against Bivol for the second time in his career after conquering in 2016 the super middleweight title of the World Boxing Organization.
