A man of about 30 years old was beaten to death during a fight with an acquaintance of his while they were drinking liquor in a basement of Brooklyn early yesterday.
According to the New York police, the violent confrontation broke out inside a building on Fifth Avenue near the street 31 in the Sunset Park neighborhood yesterday around 5: 30 am
The two men knew each other and were drinking in the basement when they got into an argument for an unspecified reason, police sources said. The unidentified victim was rushed unconscious to NYU Langone Hospital–Brooklyn, where he succumbed to his injuries approximately half an hour later.
A male person of interest was taken into custody, police said. No charges were immediately filed and no further details were immediately available, according to New York Post.
