Lucía Méndez attends the homage received by Doña Silvia Pinal at the Palacio de Bellas Artes, where the interpreter of “Corazón de Piedra” points out that she would also like to receive the same recognition in a few years.
“Of course I would love to be honored in Fine Arts, one day I will achieve it!”. The singer assures that she will never retire from show business, although she will always try to look good no matter how old she is.
“No, no, no! I am never, ever going to retire, even if I come as ‘Doña Prude’, I am going to arrive and say ‘hello girls, how are you!’”, she says jokingly with the voice of an old lady.
“Well, at least I’m going to try (to look good), but when everything collapses, well, no way; I will come as beautiful, cute and presentable as possible”.
Lucía reaffirms the affection she has for Frida Sofía like the rest of the Pinal dynasty, although she explains that she would have liked to see Alejandra Guzmán’s daughter in recognition of her grandmother. “I have a lot of affection for Frida, I love her, she is very intelligent, she is a wonderful woman, I love her, I love all of Las Pinal, what do they want her to do?” “I would love to, I would love to greet you,” he added.
