A disorderly passenger was removed from a Jetstar plane after she threw a tantrum because she wanted to sit by the window.
The incident was reported before the plane took off from Phuket , Thailand, to Sydney, Australia, over the weekend.
The woman, believed to be Australian, allegedly lost control because she was sitting in the aisle seat, but wanted to move to the from the window.
In a video of the altercation, listen to the traveler when she says to the person filming, “what’s up, Habibi?”.
Habibi is a way of saying dear in Arabic. In another clip as he struggles to get out of his seat, he expresses: “I’m out, I’m out.”
Subsequently, From the aisle as he collects his things in the baggage compartment, he says: “Thank you very much”.
As he walks out of the plane, passengers applaud and cheer. At one point, the problem indicates to another woman: “How did you call me?” Immediately, two passengers get up and exhort her to move forward.
In a In an interview with news.com.au, a Jetstar representative confirmed the incident.
“An unruly female passenger was removed from our flight before the plane took off in Phuket after becoming rowdy and using abusive language and inappropriate towards other customers and our team members,” stated the airline representative. “Airport security in Phuket was alerted and the female passenger was escorted off the flight. We take security very seriously and this type of behavior will not be tolerated on our planes”, he added.
