MIAMI – A popular model from the social network OnlyFans accused of stabbing her boyfriend to death in a luxurious apartment in Miami (Florida, USA) pleaded not guilty to the charge of second-degree murder, reported this Wednesday local media.

Courtney Clenney, 26 years old and model of the aforementioned social network, who requires followers of each profile paying a monthly fee to view its content, pleaded not guilty today in a Miami court.

“We are going to mount a vigorous defense on your behalf and show that you were the victim of violence domestic“, Clenney’s lawyer, Frank Prieto, told reporters after a brief hearing.

The model allegedly stabbed her boyfriend, Christian Toby Obumseli, aged 27 in the chest with a kitchen knife after a stormy discussion last April.

Arrested in early August in Hawaii and extradited to Miami-Dade, the young f who was recently transferred to a penitentiary center in this South Florida county, where she remains imprisoned without the right to bail, was picked up by channel 6 South Florida.

The authorities had described the crime as a crime of “domestic violence”.

At a press conference in Miami last 11 in August, Miami-Dade County State’s Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle confirmed the arrest and filing of criminal charges against Clenney as a “suspect in the murder” of Obumseli, her partner for two years.

A sentimental relationship, Fernandez underlined then, “violent and toxic for two years, which should not have ended in a tragedy with Obumseli as a victim of domestic violence.”

The prosecutor ordered at the conference the screening of a video from last February, prior to the murder, in which the model is seen wearing pajama pants and a top, hitting with a huge ag repeatedly reactive to her partner inside an elevator.

Fernández described the couple’s romance as “extremely stormy” at a conference where she was flanked by the victim’s brother and cousin.

Clenney allegedly plunged a kitchen knife 3.5 inches (8.89 centimeters) into Obumseli’s chest during an argument on April 3 and punctured his subclavian artery, causing his death.

In a call Clenney made to the emergency line 911 Obumseli can be heard saying that he is dying, Rundle said. Clenney is also heard saying, “I’m sorry, baby,'” according to an arrest affidavit collected by local and national media.

Clenney’s lawyer told the media that it is a case of self-defense and that he will prove it at his client’s trial in the courts of this city.

Clenney, an “influencer” known as Courtney Tailor on social networks, with more than 2 million followers, had been arrested on 10 August in Hawaii and was awaiting extradition to Florida.
