The tribute to Silvia Pinal in Fine Arts has already caused controversy between two of the first actress’s daughters: Sylvia Pasquel and Alejandra Guzmán.
And the fact is that the singer took to the stage of the venue on Monday to give a controversial statement.
“Well, I didn’t have to sing, but I want to thank you, mother, for all the things you have shown us that any woman can do because you have done more than that, you have achieved your dreams and you have achieved much more than any woman as an artist, as a mother, as I know you”, said Alejandra Guzmán.
The comment was not well received by Sylvia Pasquel, organizer of the event, who already reacted in an interview with the announcer Javier Poza, and said that he did invite her and even suggested that she do a musical number.
“In a WhatsApp I told her that a potpourri was going to be done and that it would be very nice if she participated singing a song to her mother and he did not want. She spoke to Efigenia and told her ‘I’m just going to go as a daughter, I’m not going to go to work’”.

“I think he did make that comment because he didn’t sing there, but of course I invited my sister, she didn’t want to. And if with that comment she wants to make people think that I didn’t invite her, well, she did it. But I can show that I was invited,” she added.
