It was not a normal day at Davidson University, in fact, it was revolutionized for being the graduation of the legend of the three shots in the NBA Stephen Curry. The Golden State Warriors basketball player is officially an arts graduate with a minor in sociology and already has his diploma in hand. the “Curry for 3” and the public rose to see it as if it were a basketball arena. However, Curry was going to receive a special title for him off the court.
Last 15 May Curry finished his last semester as a university student, 13 years after starting the degree. A bachelor’s degree that he had paralyzed due to his commitments as a professional player, but which he now decided to finish to complete his cycle.
Therefore, when he was called to the podium to receive his diploma couldn’t hold back the tears. He was visibly moved by the moment, and perhaps by remembering everything he had lived through these years until he reached that place.
Curry had frozen his career after spending three years at the University of North Carolina between 2006 and 2009. Then came his frantic rise in the NBA and set about writing his name in the rich history of the best basketball in the world.
Now he adds a title as important to him as winning four NBA championships, two World Cups, two NBA MVPs, one Finals MVP and being called to eight All-Star Games.
He was also inducted into the Davidson College Hall of Fame, class 2022.
