Bad Bunny was one of the protagonists of the MTV Video Music Awards ceremony 2022 winning the Artist of the Year award, being the first time that a Latino has achieved it.
The Puerto Rican singer, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, could not be at the gala to receive the award because he was giving a concert at Yankee Stadium in New York. However, a specific moment of the performance that he offered ended up going viral on social networks.
And it is that while he was performing his song ‘Tití asked me’, Bad Bunny kissed two of the members of his dance body. First to a girl and then to a boy, who has decided to go out and share a message about it.
Publishing the video of the iconic moment, the dancer Nigel O´Brian addressed this topic and was proud of what they achieved in the choreography.
“Mommy and papi miraaaaaaaaa, another achievement 😭😭😭 VMAS 2022 and on tour with the #1 artist worldwide. And best of all, making history with my colleagues together with a mastermind😭🙏🏼”, O’Brian began by saying in a post he made on his Instagram profile.
“I still don’t know how to process that every sacrifice is having its reward and more when it is what I really want”, said Nigel, who is also from Puerto Rico and has worked with other artists such as Nio García, Rauw Alejandro and more, according to information on his platform.
Bad Bunny, for his part, has not referred to the controversial kiss, but on previous occasions the interpreter of ‘ Neverita’, has spoken openly about ending gender stereotypes.
