Jorge Bernal is no longer part of Telemundo. The driver who became known internationally for being the moderator of the Suelta La Sopa panel, has been left out of the famous television network. Rumors emerged during this week, they indicated that Bernal’s contract was coming to an end and it was not renewed.
We contacted Telemundo to confirm this information and this is the official statement from the outlet: “Jorge Bernal is a great presenter who has participated in multiple very successful programs during his career at Telemundo. We thank him for all the dedication, professionalism, and charisma that he always brought to all his projects, which we are sure will bring him continued success in the future.”
The news came as a surprise to many, since that Jorge Bernal and Verónica Bastos hosted the program “Sin Censura”, a space in which everything that happened inside La Casa de los Famosos was openly discussed, a project that has already secured its third season, under the leadership of Héctor Sandarti and Jimena Gallego. Reason for which it was thought that the same would happen with programs adjacent to reality. Now we have to wait to find out if the show “Sin Censura” will return once Telemundo opens the doors of La Casa de los Famosos 3.
Bernal hosted said space, throughout the duration of the project on the air, along with Verónica Bastos, also host of La Mesa Caliente. He was also seen participating in Hoy Día, in the shows section with Quique Usales, Adamari López and Chiquibaby.
